Agartala: August 01: Power Minister Ratanlal Nath on Friday underscored the importance of ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply during the upcoming festive season, especially amid ongoing monsoon challenges. He was addressing a virtual conference with helpers, linemen, engineers, and senior officials of the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL), held directly from the corporation’s headquarters.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to reliable power services, the minister called for collective efforts from ground-level staff to top management to maintain consistent electricity delivery across the state. He emphasized that the festive season demands special preparedness to avoid any disruptions and ensure public convenience.
During the interaction, key focus areas included enhancing public awareness about smart meters, improving consumer grievance redressal systems, and projecting TSECL as a people-centric and service-oriented entity. “It is essential that the Corporation is seen not just as a utility provider, but as a partner in public welfare,” Nath remarked.
The minister also appreciated the dedication and hard work of the entire electricity department, stating that officials and employees have assured their full support in meeting service expectations. He urged the team to stay alert and responsive, particularly during peak demand periods and inclement weather conditions.
“Together, we will usher in a bright and customer-friendly era in Tripura’s power sector,” Nath stated on social media, expressing confidence in the workforce’s readiness to meet the challenges ahead.
The meeting served as both a strategy session and a morale boost, reinforcing the government’s focus on accountability, modernization, and uninterrupted services for all citizens. With the festive season approaching, the power department is gearing up to ensure that celebrations across the state remain brightly lit and disruption-free.
