Agartala, July 22: Minister Sudhangshu Das on Tuesday chaired the district-level review meeting of the Animal Resources Development Department (ARDD), Scheduled Caste Welfare (SCW), and the Fisheries Department at the Conference Hall of the District Magistrate’s Office in West Tripura. This session marked the final leg of a comprehensive review initiative conducted across all eight districts of Tripura.
While addressing the media, Minister Das highlighted that the ongoing review process aims to evaluate the performance, progress, and implementation efficiency of projects under the three departments. Over the past several weeks, the Minister, along with senior officials, visited all districts to assess the ground-level execution and impact of developmental schemes.
The review in West Tripura provided a consolidated overview of activities undertaken during the 2024–2025 fiscal year. Discussions focused on fund utilization, saturation of existing schemes, and challenges encountered during project implementation. Officials were urged to ensure faster delivery of services and better coordination at all administrative levels.
Looking ahead, the meeting laid the groundwork for a strategic roadmap for the upcoming 2025–2026 financial year. Minister Das emphasized the need for mission-mode execution of all departmental projects, ensuring visible, timely, and measurable outcomes to benefit targeted communities.
The meeting saw participation from key stakeholders including local MLAs, the West Tripura Zilla Sabhadhipati, the District Magistrate, and departmental officers. Their collective inputs contributed to a focused dialogue on improving governance, service delivery, and the overall developmental framework of the state.
The successful conclusion of the district review series marks a major step toward enhancing transparency, accountability, and efficiency in Tripura’s administrative processes.
