Agartala, July 22: Justice Mamidanna Satya Ratna Sri Ramachandra Rao on Tuesday took oath as the new Chief Justice of the High Court of Tripura.
In a solemn swearing-in ceremony held at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Agartala, Tripura Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu administered the oath of office and secrecy to Justice Mamidanna.
The event was attended by Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, several members of the state cabinet, Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, and other dignitaries from the judiciary and administration.
Justice Mamidanna previously served as the Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court before his appointment to Tripura.
