Jubarajnagar, June 25: As part of the ongoing *Janjatiya Gaurav Divas* celebrations, a 15-day special awareness and beneficiary saturation campaign under the *Dharti Aba Janbhagidari Abhiyan* is being actively implemented across Tripura. The campaign aims to bring every eligible tribal household under the ambit of key government welfare schemes through inclusive, doorstep service delivery.
A significant outreach event under this initiative was held on Tuesday at Jaithang SB School in North Tripura’s Jubarajnagar RD Block. The camp was formally inaugurated by Tinku Roy, Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Social Welfare and Social Education.
In his address, Minister Roy highlighted the significance of the campaign in reaching the most underserved communities. “This initiative ensures that essential services such as ration cards, housing schemes, healthcare access, pensions, and educational scholarships are delivered directly to beneficiaries without bureaucratic hurdles,” he said.
The minister further noted that the campaign, running from June 15 to June 30, 2025, is part of a national effort to integrate remote tribal communities into the mainstream development process by ensuring last-mile delivery of government schemes.
The program was also graced by North Tripura Zilla Sabhadhipati Aparna Nath, Panchayat Samiti Vice Chairman Samarendra Debnath, and Community Development Officer Prasenjit Malakar, who emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination in ensuring effective implementation.
During the event, several tribal beneficiaries received on-the-spot assistance, guidance, and financial aid, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to tribal welfare and empowerment.
The *Dharti Aba Janbhagidari Abhiyan* continues to gain momentum across Tripura, with camps being held in various ADC villages to ensure no eligible citizen is left behind in accessing their entitlements.
