Agartala: May 20: Former Tripura Chief Minister and Member of Parliament from West Tripura, **Biplab Kumar Deb**, arrived in the state on Friday to attend a pre-scheduled event marking **International Yoga Day**. The main event is scheduled to be held on **Saturday morning at the iconic Neer Mahal**, where Deb will participate alongside Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister **Ratan Lal Nath**.
Ahead of the event, MP Deb made several visits to offer condolences to families who have recently suffered personal losses. Upon his arrival, he visited the residence of **MLA Promod Reang** in Tuikarma under the Santirbazar constituency, where he extended heartfelt sympathies over the recent passing of Reang’s father.
Continuing his outreach, Deb also visited the residences of **Sujit Ray**, General Secretary of the Tripura Olympic Association, **Nupur Nandi**, Councillor of Udaipur Municipal Council, and **Manojit Dhar**, a teacher based in Udaipur. At each home, the MP offered his condolences and spent time with the grieving families, expressing solidarity during their time of loss.
