Agartala, May 10: The Rashtriya Sanatani Seva Sangha, a Hindu organization, organized a protest rally in Agartala on Saturday to condemn the targeted killing of 22 Hindu tourists at Pahalgam in Kashmir by Pakistan-sponsored militants.
The rally also denounced recent attacks on Hindus in Murshidabad, West Bengal, and atrocities against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh.
Led by former Minister and Deputy Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, Ramprasad Paul, the rally began at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhawan and passed through key streets of the capital city before concluding in front of the City Centre.
Braving the scorching heat, hundreds of protestors enthusiastically participated in the rally, raising slogans such as “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Pakistan Murdabad,” and calls for Hindu unity, demanding an end to violence against Hindus across the region.
