Agartala, May 7: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday extended strong support to Operation ‘Sindoor’, India’s recent targeted strikes on terror camps in Pakistan. Speaking to the media, Saha praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his decisive leadership and thanked the Army, Navy, and Air Force on behalf of the people of Tripura.
“PM Modi had said the attackers would be punished—and what he says, he does,” said Saha, lauding the successful operation that reportedly neutralized key terror operatives without causing any civilian harm.
Referring to repeated terror attacks on Indian soil, Saha stated, “Enough is enough. It’s time for appropriate action against these threats to our national security.”
Commenting on the regional response, the Chief Minister noted that Bangladesh has not raised any objection to the strikes and, in fact, had condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, indicating regional support for India’s anti-terror efforts.
Saha also informed that a nationwide mock drill is being planned, including in Tripura, under the guidance of the Union Home Ministry to bolster preparedness against any future threats.
