Agartala: April 21: In a mysterious and concerning incident, a jawan of the Border Security Force (BSF) was admitted to Gomati District Hospital with a bullet injury to his chest.
According to medical officials, the injured jawan was initially brought to the Nutanbazar Hospital before being referred to the district hospital for further evaluation. The attending medical officer at Gomati District Hospital confirmed that the bullet wound was located on the left side of the chest. A CT scan was performed, and the jawan received preliminary treatment before being referred to GBP Hospital in Agartala for advanced medical care and further management.
The condition of the jawan has not been officially disclosed, but hospital sources indicated that the case is being handled with priority due to the nature of the injury.
