Agartala: April 03: Tipra Motha leader Pradyot Kishore Debbarma recently addressed the challenges his party faces in maintaining unity during a public rally in Udaipur. He emphasized the importance of preserving unity for the Tiprasa community’s future, stating that unity could lead to them taking charge of Tripura’s governance by 2028. Debbarma called for collective action to secure the community’s rights, criticizing opposition leader Jitendra Choudhury and successive governments for neglecting the Tiprasa community’s demands. He accused the CPM of engaging in “cheap politics” without contributing to the community’s progress. Despite obstacles, Debbarma vowed to continue fighting for the Tiprasa people’s rights, stressing his identity is inseparable from their struggle. He warned the interim government in Bangladesh that any attack on Tripura would lead to the creation of Greater Tipraland, emphasizing the necessity of unity to achieve their rightful demands.
