Agartala: Mar 25: During the third day of the budget session in the Tripura Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister and Panchayat Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha addressed questions raised by MLAs Ramapada Jamatia and Deepak Majumdar regarding the allowances for officials in the three-tier Panchayat system.
The Chief Minister announced plans to enhance the allowances for various positions, including District Chairpersons, Assistant Chairpersons, Heads, Deputy Heads, Panchayat Samiti Chairpersons, Vice Chairpersons, and members of the Panchayat system. This move aims to support and recognize the contributions of these officials in local governance.
