Agartala: Feb 25: Job seekers in Tripura are protesting the delay in announcing results for the recruitment of firemen and drivers in the Tripura Fire Service. The recruitment notice was issued in 2022, and physical and written tests were conducted, but the results have yet to be published, leaving many job seekers disillusioned.
The protestors, who were stopped by police en route to the Chief Minister’s residence, gathered in front of Ujjayanta Palace to continue their demonstration. They’re demanding that the results be announced promptly and that the recruitment process be concluded without further delays.
The job seekers are also calling on Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha to personally intervene in the matter and ensure that the recruitment process is completed expeditiously. If their demands aren’t met, they’ve expressed their intention to escalate their protests further, launching a larger movement to draw attention to their plight.
This prolonged uncertainty has created an atmosphere of frustration among the unemployed youth of Tripura, who are urging the state government to address the issue urgently and provide clarity on the future of the recruitment process.
