Agartala: Feb 24: After a span of two months and three days, the offering boxes of the renowned Mata Tripura Sundari Temple were finally opened, and the counting process commenced on Monday morning at 9:00 AM. This routine but crucial task was closely supervised by Deputy Collector Kalidas Ghosh, who confirmed that the counting was being carried out with high security and a well-organized approach to ensure transparency and accuracy.
On this occasion, a total of 15 offering boxes and one vault were opened to account for the collected offerings. The counting process involved 15 workers who meticulously sorted and counted the donations. Deputy Collector Ghosh assured that the offerings would be utilized for the temple’s service, management, and various development initiatives aimed at enhancing the temple’s facilities and infrastructure.
The temple management, aware of the significance of these offerings in supporting the temple’s upkeep, has expressed hope that a substantial amount has been collected this time. This would aid not only in maintaining the sacred site but also contribute to ongoing and future development projects, ensuring that Mata Tripura Sundari Temple continues to serve the spiritual and cultural needs of the community.
