Agartala: Feb 19: Central Sanskrit University’s Ekalavya Campus hosted a seven-day workshop on the integration of the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) with the modern education system from February 17th to February 21st. The opening ceremony of this teacher training workshop was held on February 17th at the Ekalavya Campus. The chief guest at the event was Dr. Haradhan Saha, Honorable Principal of Swami Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya (Mohanpur), who emphasized the importance of integrating IKS in the current development and progress of modern education.
Dr. Saha expressed his opinion that integrating IKS with the modern education system can enhance students’ learning experiences, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of their cultural heritage. BPM Srinivas attended the event as the honorary guest. The inaugural session was presided over by Professor Avdhesh Kumar Choubey, Acting Director of the Central Sanskrit University, Ekalavya Campus, (Tripura).
The honorary guest delivered a welcome address to everyone present, including all the professors, teachers, staff, and students of Ekalavya Campus. The event concluded with a peace mantra.
