Agartala: Feb 07: On February 7, 2025, Sukla Charan Noatia, the Cabinet Minister of Tripura, along with Swapan Debbarma, the General Secretary of the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT), and Mannya Singh Jamatia, the General Secretary of Youth IPFT, had an important meeting with AK Mishra, the Advisor to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for the Northeast Region, in New Delhi.
The delegation from Tripura engaged in discussions with AK Mishra regarding key issues concerning the state, particularly focusing on the development and welfare of the indigenous communities in Tripura. The meeting covered topics related to strengthening the state’s governance, the implementation of tribal welfare schemes, and the promotion of peace and harmony in the region. The representatives also highlighted the role of the IPFT in advocating for the rights and empowerment of indigenous groups.
