Agartala: Jan 31: After a long wait, the Tripura state government has announced that it will distribute offers for Group-D posts across various departments on February 5. The distribution ceremony will take place at Swami Vivekananda Ground, where the government will hand over the offer letters to the successful candidates. These candidates were selected through the merit-based process conducted by the Joint Recruitment Board, Tripura (JRBT).
A total of 2437 multi-tasking staff candidates have been recommended for recruitment, out of 2500 available posts. The recruitment process has been highly anticipated, and this event marks a significant milestone for the candidates and the state’s public sector workforce.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in the event virtually, while Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and several other cabinet ministers will attend in person, underscoring the importance of this occasion. The event will be a significant step in addressing employment needs in the state.
In preparation for the event, a meeting will be held at the conference hall of the secretariat on Friday to ensure all logistical arrangements are in place.
Meanwhile, the JRBT has published the final merit list for the recruitment of Group-D (multi-tasking) staff. A total of 2437 candidates have been recommended for appointment, leaving a few posts unfilled. The distribution of offers on February 5 will be a key moment for those who have successfully secured positions.
