Agartala: Dec 07: STGT job aspirants protested in front of City Center, demanding the immediate publication of results and combined recruitment. A candidate informed that the STGT exam was conducted in 2022. Even though two years have passed since the exam, the education department has not yet published the results. Despite approaching TRB multiple times regarding this matter, no response has been received. The recruitment process is still on hold.
They allege that the government had stated that the recruitment process was being delayed due to legal reasons. However, that issue has now been resolved. Yet, the TRB is not completing the recruitment process. Hence, they have once again protested in front of City Center with placards demanding the immediate publication of results.
They further allege that various schools in the state are facing a shortage of teachers. Students are frequently blocking roads demanding teacher recruitment. But the state government is not taking any initiative to address the teacher shortage.
