Agartala: Dec 03: The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-103) continues to be a hub of discipline, learning, and energy as it enters its fourth day on December 3, 2024. The participants, categorized as JD/JW and SD/SW, are actively engaged in various meticulously planned activities designed to enhance their physical fitness, knowledge, and skills.
The day for JD/JW & SD/SW cadets began with a rejuvenating yoga session and guard of honour practice, setting a positive tone for the day. After breakfast, they attended a drill session and guard of honour practice led by Hav Anup Chhetri, emphasizing discipline and fitness, followed by map reading (MR) under the guidance of Nb Sub Vikash Kumar.
Post a short tea break, Hav Avishek Rai conducted a session on JD/FS, ensuring active participation. Two highly insightful lectures followed—one on Computer Literacy by Mrs. Priyanka Das and another on Cyber Security Awareness by Mrs. Dr. Priya Das, providing critical knowledge about technological advancements and online safety.
After lunch and some off-time work (OTW), the cadets attended weapon training (WT) conducted by Hav Yogesh Rai. A highlight of the day was the Lecture-cum-Demonstration on Self-Defence by Sub Maj MP Meitei, which was met with great enthusiasm. The day concluded with a tea break, roll call, dinner, and lights off, ensuring a well-rounded experience.
The third day of the camp showcased the perfect blend of physical activities, skill enhancement, and intellectual development. With such a comprehensive program, the camp aims to foster discipline, knowledge, and resilience among all participants. The enthusiasm displayed by cadets and instructors alike is a testament to the camp’s success in achieving its objectives.
