The accused is a resident of Ward No. 10 under Dharmanagar Municipal Council.
Acting on a tip-off, a team led by Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Jeremiah Darlong, along with officers from Dharmanagar Police Station, conducted a raid at Raju Dev’s residence on College Road, Gaur Gopal Sarani.
During the raid, police recovered a foreign-made automatic pistol along with ten live cartridges, two Android mobile phones, and a vehicle.
According to ASP Darlong, the recovered pistol is a 7.62 Russian-made automatic weapon.
