Agartala, August 11: In a show of solidarity against the ongoing violence targeting their colleagues in Bangladesh, journalists from the Agartala Press Club stage a demonstration in Agartala on Sunday.
The protest highlighted the increasing incidents of attacks, looting, and arson directed at the journalist community across the border.
Demonstrators gathered to voice their concerns and demand action to protect press freedom and the safety of journalists in Bangladesh, condemning the attacks as a grave threat to democracy and free speech.
They also demanded immediate action by the interim government to stop the attacks on the journalists and arrest those responsible for the attacks.
