Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang to Attend 89th Birthday Celebration of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Dharamshala,Himachal Pradesh.
Chief Minister Tamang will be attending the 89th birthday celebration of His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Dharamshala today as the chief guest.
However, sources have informed that His Holiness is currently in the United States, recovering after knee surgery.
The first half of the program, which will be held in the Tshuklakhang hall, will include prayers offered by the Chief Minister along with other invited guests.
In the latter half of the event, artists from the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) will perform traditional Tibetan dances.
