Agartala: June 28: Today, a four-member committee formed by BJP state president JP Nadda submitted its report on the situation in West Bengal. The committee, headed by MP Biplab Kumar Dev, investigated allegations of political brutality and administrative misconduct by the ruling Trinamool Congress.
MP Biplab Kumar Dev confirmed the submission of the report via social media. According to the findings, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, despite her oath to protect democracy and the people of the state, allegedly engaged in political revenge using government resources.
The report highlights instances of violence and intimidation perpetrated by Trinamool-affiliated miscreants against opposition party workers and voters. Particularly concerning is the reported abuse suffered by Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe women. The committee’s investigation sheds light on a contentious election in Bengal.
