On Sunday, 9 June 2024, a rousing reception to newly-elected INDIA-backed CPI(M) MP from the Sikar seat in Rajasthan, Amra Ram, was organised at the All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) central office in New Delhi. Amra Ram is a Member of the CPI(M) Central Committee, Secretary of its Rajasthan State Committee, and is also the National Vice President of the AIKS. He came to Delhi for the first time after being elected.
Amra Ram was warmly welcomed by Sitaram Yechury, Brinda Karat, Hannan Mollah, Tapan Sen, A Vijayaraghavan, Subhashini Ali, Dr Ashok Dhawale, Vijoo Krishnan, P Krishnaprasad, K N Umesh, Mariam Dhawale, S Punyavathi, Rajeev Kunwar, Nathu Prasad, Dinesh Abrol, Vikas Rawal, Asha Sharma, Maimoona Mollah, Archana Prasad, Manjeet Rathee, Sarbani Sarkar, P N Rao, Manoj Kumar, Sumit Ray, Nidheesh Villatt, Shubhojeet Dey, Ranjini Basu, Nilu Srivastav, Nitheesh Narayan, Aishe Ghosh, Adarsh Saji, Sooraj Elaman, Harinder, Sudip Datta, Babu Mohan, and others. The reception was followed by lunch.
