Agartala: April 29: In a collaborative operation, officers from the Government Railway Police (GRP) and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) carried out a targeted raid at Agartala Railway Station. Acting on a credible tip-off, the joint team successfully confiscated 345 bottles of Eskoff, a substance with an estimated street value of Rs. 1,72,500.
The seized contraband is believed to have been destined for illicit distribution within the market. Alongside this significant seizure, authorities apprehended four individuals from outside the state who are now in custody. The suspects are likely to face charges related to drug trafficking and possession.
This operation underscores the commitment of law enforcement agencies to curb illegal activities and maintain public safety within the region. Further investigations are underway to trace the origins and intended recipients of the confiscated Eskoff.
