Agartala: Apr 08: In a candid address during an election rally in Khululuwng, West Tripura Lok Sabha candidate Biplab Kumar Deb minced no words. He asserted that dishonesty runs deep in the blood of Congress and CPM, while the royal family remains untainted.
Deb, a prominent BJP leader, highlighted the 35-year rule of Congress and CPM in Tripura, accusing them of betraying the tribal population. According to him, the BJP government has consistently prioritized tribal development and will continue to do so.
“Only under Narendra Modi’s leadership can Tripura truly flourish,” declared Deb. He urged voters to cast their ballots for the lotus symbol, aiming for a resounding victory in both Lok Sabha seats.
Deb didn’t mince words when discussing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and former Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar. “They never respected the tribals,” he asserted. In contrast, the BJP-led government has shown reverence for both the royal family and the tribal communities.
Regarding allegations of dishonesty, Deb firmly stated, “The royal family cannot be dishonest.” He countered the opposition’s claims, emphasizing that it was Manik Sarkar who had let down the people of the state.
As the election fervor intensifies, Deb promised, “I will champion tribal welfare, ensuring employment opportunities for every tribal household in the days to come.” The battle for Tripura’s future is underway, and Deb’s words resonate with voters seeking progress and integrity.
