Agartala: January 21: In the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections, another split in the Tipramotha party. 135 voters from 53 families left Tipramotha and joined BJP.
According to the detailed news, a rally was organized at Rathkumar Rowaza Para of Chichingchhara Village of Longtraivalley subdivision under the initiative of BJP Karamchhara Mandal.
135 voters including the block level leader of Tipramotha party joined the Padma camp in that joining meeting. MP from East Tripura Lok Sabha Constituency Rebati Tripura, State BJP Vice-President Patalkainya Jamatia, MDC from Manu-Chailengta Constituency Sanjay Das and other leaders welcomed them with party flags in their hands.
While speaking, MP Rebati Tripura said that defectors joined Tipramotha party with a lot of dreams. A few days after hoping for power in the ADC, their dreams were shattered. They realize that only BJP government is needed for development in the area. Free rice in ration, Kisan Nidhi Yojana, providing government houses to such a large number of beneficiaries is possible only because of Modi government. Therefore, people are joining BJP for the sake of development, leaving the infatuation of Tipramotha party in the hill town.
