Agartala, December 21 : Barbed wire fence is still missing in some places in Tripura. If the construction of barbed wire fence is completed in those places, Tripura will be benefited in many ways. It will be possible to prevent illegal infiltration, which is now the biggest challenge for us. Director General Nitin Aggarwal said this while visiting NC Nagar BSOF camp on a two-day visit to Tripura.
During the day’s visit, he reviewed the current security situation and encouraged the jawans to deal with the ever-changing situation.
Addressing the journalists, he said that BSF is capable of fighting against all challenges. In NDPS cases, the arrested person is handed over to the local police or NCB for investigation. BSSF’s duty is to arrest drug traffickers along with drug paraphernalia.
