Agartala November 26: The previous government used to make food warehouse workers stand in long queues to fight for the interests of workers. But under the current government, workers do not have to stand in line and protest. And don’t be deprived. The government thinks about those who follow the government’s decisions properly and responsibly. Speaking at the first triennial state conference organized by the Department of Food, Public Welfare and Consumer Affairs at Battala TRTC on Sunday, the Minister of Food and Public Welfare said this. Sushanta Chowdhury.
He said that the workers are playing a big role in keeping the ration system running. So when the workers went and demanded to him that they were not getting Puja bonus, he immediately spoke to the manager and ordered to give the bonus to the food warehouse workers. Nothing happens with this Rs 2000 bonus. But the main purpose behind giving permission to the government to keep the workers in mind is to let the workers know that the government is on their side because workers work hard. If there is no satisfaction among them, then the work of the government will not progress. Then you will not be able to advance in the state. So bonus is given on Durga Puja to encourage workers and work responsibly. He said that the government will also keep in mind what kind of facilities can be provided for the workers in the coming days. A rally was organized by the workers in Agartala city before the organized conference. The presence of workers in the procession was quite noticeable.
