Shantirbazar, November 25: The police of Rajnagar PRbari police station again launched an anti-cannabis operation based on secret information. They raided for more than three hours and destroyed the cannabis plants.
The operation started from five o’clock in the morning on Saturday. This campaign lasts until noon. Destruction of 12,400 cannabis trees in the raid. Based on tip-off, the operation was conducted in Lakepara and Chikon Khel area of Ghosh Farm under Rajnagar PRbari police station of Rajnagar block. The operation was led by OC Ratan Ravi Das.
During that operation, 69 BSF battalion, personnel of Rajnagar forest department and police of Rajnagar PRbari and Rangamura police station were with them. OC Ratan Ravi Das said that this operation will continue in the coming days.
