Media Report of CATC -82, 13 Tripura NCC Bn- Day-2
The 2nd day of the camp commenced with Physical training and swachhata rally followed by Opening address of Col S Sriram, Offg Group Commander, Silchar Group. In his address, he advised cadets to make themselves less mobile dependency, less use of social media in their day to day life and concentrate more on their career. Being himself a ncc cadet in his college days, he told cadets the benefits of joining in NCC. His opening address was followed by a group photograph of all participants.
After that event, a class was taken by Lt. Jekap Halam, ANO regarding basic understanding about organizations of NCC followed by 2nd class by Third Officer Chandan Das on Moral & Ethics and another lecture on health & hygiene by Nursing assistant.
The afternoon session started with lecture & demonstration program by 1st BN. NDRF team. They practically show cadets how to remain prepared themselves during any disasters followed by class on Weapon Training & Map reading by Army instructors.
