Agartala July 21: Substantial amount of money has been earmarked for the education sector in the financial year 2023-24. Model schools will be constructed in each block area. The Chief Minister has highlighted how the money will be spent in the education sector. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while inaugurating smart class, Nipun Tripura booklet, Vidyajyoti class and dashboard at Umakanta school on Friday.
On this day, the chief minister first introduced the program by sprinkling water on the saplings. Later he introduced the smart class by pressing the remote button. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that with the progress of science and civilization, new things are coming forward. These may or may not pass in the coming days. The main objective of Smart Class is to increase interest in learning among students. But teachers also need to be updated. The Prime Minister gave the diamond model to the state of Tripura. As a result, internet consumption in the state has reduced. Prime Minister wants to spread the light of education everywhere from village to city. The Chief Minister claimed that as the central government is working, the state government is also working for that purpose. Tripura state has about 100 schools under Vidyajyoti scheme. 25 more schools will be brought under Vidyajyoti scheme. There is no dearth of talent and talent among the students of the state. The sons and daughters of the state are making a name for themselves by going abroad. Education Department Secretary Sharadindu Chowdhury, Education Department Director Chandni Chandran and others were also present in the ceremony.
