Agartala: Jul 09: Radhanagar Battalion of Agartala Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), seized 498 kg Marijuana worth Rs 2 Crore from General Area Ambassa, under Ambassa PS, Dhalai District, Tripura on 08 July 2023.
Based on the credible information, a joint operation was launched by Radhanagar Battalion and Ambassa PS. The team apprehended one individual and seized 498 kg Marijuana worth Rs. 2 Crore and one Heavy Vehicle.
Apprehendee alongwith seized contents were handed over to Ambassa PS, Dhalai District, Tripura on 08 July 2023 for further investigation & legal proceedings.
