Agartala July 5: The government is coming forward to extend a hand of cooperation before the Lok Sabha elections. People do not have to apply to any minister or legislator for financial assistance. Ministers and MLAs are reaching out from door to door with financial assistance. Wednesday was no exception. People’s Welfare Minister Bikas Debbarma has extended his hand of support to the families of the deceased.
Two baby girls died after drowning in Manik Bazar area under Teliamura police station on Tuesday. Within 48 hours of the incident, the administration handed over financial aid to the families of the two dead children. Minister Bikas Debbarma handed over the financial aid. Alyssa Rupini and Amy Debbarma tragically drowned on Tuesday. On Wednesday, administrative officials led by minister Bikas Debbarma rushed to the house of the two dead children. Minister Bikas Debbarma expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the two deceased children and gave financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the families of the two dead children from the disaster relief fund.
In an interview, Minister Bikas Debbarma said that the government and the administration are with the families of the two deceased children. On this day, Minister Bikas Debbarma was accompanied by Additional Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Teliamura Rakesh Chakraborty, Additional District Magistrate of Khoai District Subhash Chandra Saha, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Prasun Kanti Tripura and others.
