Agartala July 5: Ashish Lal Singh, son of the former Chief Minister of the state Sachindra Lal Singh and Prashant Bhattacharya, Prashant Bhattacharya, the state Congress spokesperson, have abandoned their ideals and joined the BJP. It has become a tradition for some of the political leaders of this state to leave the party and join another party if their interests are not fulfilled. Ashish Lal Singh, son of former Chief Minister of the state Sachindra Lal Singh and Prashant Bhattacharya, spokesperson of the Pradesh Congress, joined the BJP party with their followers as their interests were not fulfilled this time. Ashish Lal Singh was once the leader of Trinamool Congress.
He wanted to become the president of the Pradesh Trinamool Congress. But his dream remained elusive. On the other hand, Prashant Bhattacharya was once the media in-charge of Congress. He also wanted to get a good position in the state Congress. Recently, after Asish Kumar Saha became the President of Pradesh Congress, Prashant Bhattacharya realized that his dream will not become a reality. Then he left the Congress. On this day, Ashish Lal Singh and Prashant Bhattacharya abandoned their ideology and joined the BJP party with their followers. They were inducted into the BJP party in a ceremony at the state BJP office by state BJP president Rajeev Bhattacharya, state BJP general secretary Amit Rakshit and other leaders. State BJP President Rajeev Bhattacharya said that Prashant Bhattacharya from the State Congress, District Secretary of the State Congress Sudarshan Majumdar, District Secretary Rajeev Das, Member Ashish Deb, State Committee Member of CITU Surjit Bhattacharya, Former State President of Trinamool Congress Ashish Lal Singh, General Secretary Kohli Das, Secretary Krishna Kant Debnath, Members Vishwanath Ghosh and Swapnadeep Chakraborty have joined the BJP party. All the leaders who left different parties and joined the BJP party were previously in good positions in some political party. But as their own interests were not fulfilled, they took the opportunity and joined the BJP party. The biggest thing is that those leaders who changed parties and abandoned their political ideals to join the BJP because their interests were not fulfilled, how much they will work for BJP in the future. Will they work for the people at all or will they import the culture of their burnt party into the BJP party. Time will tell the answer. It is now to be seen whether these leaders forget personal interests by changing parties and work for the people at all or try to import the burnt party culture into the BJP party.
