Agartala, May 27: Shocked at the humiliation by the husband, a 20-year old mother of Budhjungnagar area of Jirania police station committed suicide by consuming pills, sources said.
The woman identified as Snigdha Raut, was spotted having sweets with a friend in a shop at Kheyerpur and did her hubby Paresh Das graph video on Thursday.
On returning home, Paresh abused her and asked her to end life as she was caught having sweets with a young person in a shop. “Snigdha went home on Thursday and took excessive pills resulting in she fell ill seriously on Thursday . Puzzled at the development, Paresh informed his in-laws about the condition of Snigdha”, one of the relatives said.
“While returning to his father’s home, her condition worsened and was taken to GBP hospital where she died on Saturday. Interestingly, Paresh did not turn up to the hospital even after being informed about the fate of his wife”, she said.
“We will lodge an FIR against Paresh and the young boy with whom she had sweets. Pradesh used to torture his wife physically and mentally”, she said adding the hubby is a habitual addicted person and has little care about his family. A pall of gloom descended at Rajarban area under Bodhjungnagar police station over the death of the mother of one girl.
