Agartala: Jan 20: Congress and CPIM alliance to achieve their own interests by fooling people. This was said by Subrata Chakraborty, Chief Spokesperson of the State BJP at a press conference at the state BJP office on Friday. He said that the upcoming assembly election is an important election for the state of Tripura. The people of the entire state of Tripura are noticing that those who were long against each other and those who complained against each other for a long time, are now united in one alliance.
Any political party can take its position, it is the right of any political party. BJP has no comment on that. But he questioned where the commitment had gone for those people who were tortured, oppressed, displaced. Talking about the incident of Jiraniya, he said that after the declaration of election, the administration is done by the Election Commission. At that place, how many propagandas and many unwanted steps are being taken by the opposition parties to create an anarchic situation in the state, to create a dividing line. It is not desirable at all. On January 18, a Congress bike rally started from Agartala and reached Sachindra Nagar Colony in Majlishpur.
This bike rally had no permission to reach Sachindra Nagar Colony. After the bike rally reached Sachindra Nagar Colony, a group of Congress workers and supporters entered the BJP booth office and attacked the BJP workers. BJP booth office vandalized, items looted from there. Later, women workers of BJP were attacked. The MLA and minister of the area Sushant Chowdhury rushed to the spot to control the situation after receiving the news of the incident. A blueprint has been laid to complicate the situation in the state ahead of the elections. Two separate cases have been filed in two police stations regarding this. Subrata Chakraborty expressed hope that the Election Commission will take appropriate measures through the administration. In the press conference, he also said that a person named Pranajit Namshudra has been killed in Surma Assembly constituency area. But it appears that an attempt is being made to give political color to blame the murder on BJP. There is a conspiracy hatched.
It is being propagated that BJP party operatives are responsible for this murder. But the Election Commission has made it clear that there is no political issue involved in this murder. The killings were purely personal and financial transactions. Subrata Chakraborty also alleged that there is a conspiracy going on to spoil the freedom of the BJP party by spreading lies. He also said that efforts are being made to spread confusion among people across the state. State BJP spokesperson Ashmita Banik was present at the press conference along with Subrata Chakraborty.
