Agartala: Jan 16: 10,323 teachers will fight for the anti-BJP parties in the upcoming assembly elections. The government will be changed. The joint platform of 10,323 gave the final decision in the face of voting that smuggling would be done for this. As for 10,323, the idea was that the government would take a decision in the final cabinet meeting.
But there are already indications that the election will be announced in the next two-three days. So far no final decision has been taken by the state government. So for the last time, a joint platform of 10,323 organized a movement in the city throughout the day on Monday. Sometimes in front of the Chief Minister’s residence, sometimes in front of the Education Minister’s residence, sometimes in front of former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Dev’s house and sometimes in front of the Education Department, they joined the dharna. But I did not see any hope even today. It is to be noted that on this day, as per the pre-arranged announcement, the sacked teachers marched from Paradise Choumuhani area of the capital to the Chief Minister’s residence at Sri Krishna Temple. The procession was stopped by the police when it reached the area adjacent to Womens’ College. 10,323 female teachers clashed with the police for a long time.
Still, the agitating fired teachers were kept there by barricades. There, effigies of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath, former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb were burnt in the police barricade. After marching from there, the sacked teachers came again in front of the education minister’s residence and hung the play cards from their throats and hung them on the wall of the education minister’s residence. After a long protest, the procession moved from the residence of the Education Minister to the residence of former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Dev and joined the protest. At this place too, after a long protest, they went in front of the education department and protested against the current officials of the education department. Then came in front of the city center of the capital and burnt the statement of the advisory committee formed by the government. The agitating dismissed teacher Kamal Dev told the media that through this day-long protest program, the state government has been informed that 10,323 have already been reinstated. Otherwise, changes will be made. In no way less are these teachers. He said out of 299 promises of this government, 10,323 were also promised to provide permanent solutions.
Meanwhile, dismissed teacher Bijaykrishna Saha said that 10,323 answers will be given in the ballot box. They said they are ready for this. He also said that the teachers who had lost their jobs for a long time were politely hoping that the government would take some measures. This government has repeatedly cheated. This government’s fraud will be answered. So this government will be defeated through voting. BJP will vote against because activists of all political parties are among the 10,323 warned this day. He also said that the party which will be strong without BJP will be victorious. And for this, the upcoming election will be held against the BJP, he said. A man from the procession stood up again and said that there is no rice, no dal in the house. But on this day, some people cried in the streets saying that the government has not solved their problems in five years. So they will be on the road, he said today.
