DIBRUGARH, JAN 2: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh who is scheduled to inaugurate the strategically important Siyom Bridge in Arunachal Pradesh’s Siang district on Tuesday arrived at the Mohanbari Air Force Station in Dibrugarh on Monday evening, enroute to the border state. The defence minister will stay at the Mohanbari Air Force base the night and will leave for Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday morning.
Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the Siyom Bridge and e-inaugurate 27 Projects of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) of seven border states along with release of BRO Vision and New Tech Hand book. He will also interact with the local people during his visit.
The 100-metre-long steel arch Siyom Bridge on the Along-Yingkiong Road has been constructed under Project Brahmank by the Border Roads Organisation.
