Bharatiya Janata Party tribal wing Janajati Morcha Tripura Pradesh on Thursday hit the streets of Agartala during a Raj Bhavan Abhiya demanding the Governor to appoint a commission to enquire into the alleged massive corruption in the TTAADC under the TIPRA Motha.
The rally stated from the Maharani Tulshibati girls HS school and went through the streets of the capital city and concluded near Circuit House.
Janajati Morcha viewed that rampant corruption and nepotism took place in the walk in interview for the employments of teacher in TTAADC.
They added that the state government on request of TTAADC has released fund of 30 Cr for development of infrastructure of a hospital at Khumulwng but till now the work has not yet been completed othe funds allotted for this purpose have remain either unspent or has been deviated for other purpose thereby depriving the indigenous peoples of Tripura better health care.
Janajati Morcha also raised that there is rampant corruption in procurement of thread and nepotism, favouritism in distribution of various government schemes depriving the deserving beneficiaries.
Moreover, there is a thread scam of procurement and distribution violating all financial norms that are mandatorily to be followed alleged Motha.
Janajati Morcha leader and Tribal Welfare Minister Rampada Jamatia alleged massive corruption going on in the TTAADC and in its memorandum to the Governor urged for dismissal of the TIPRA Motha run administration in the council.
