In a press conference, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury while highlighting the statistics of how many government jobs have been provided by the present government said that since the establishment of the present government in 2018 till December 16, 2022, a total of 41 thousand 949 vacancies have been approved by the finance department. . Among them there are 17 thousand 687 regular posts. 1 thousand 329 people have been employed in die-in-harness. 8 thousand 13 people have been employed on contract basis. 5 thousand 879 people have been recruited through out sourcing. Of the 41 thousand 949 vacancies approved by the Finance Department, 24 thousand 33 vacancies have already been filled. Among remaining vacancies there are about 5000 vacancies under JRBT, 6000 vacancies for Special Executive, about 3000 for TET pass. 1 thousand police personnel will be appointed. All these vacancies are in process of filling up. Minister Sushanta Chowdhury also presented the information about how many people have been appointed in any department after the establishment of the current government. In the press conference, he said that there are 63 departments under the state government.
