Agartala: Dec 25: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a tribute program was organized at the election central office of the state BJP. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Election Officer Mahendra Singh, State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee, Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik, Mayor Deepak Majumdar and other leaders and workers were present on the occasion.
All paid their respects by placing wreaths in front of the late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s portrait. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the late Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee became the Prime Minister thrice. He has done many things for the country. His contribution is immense. Hence his guidance is relevant even today. Therefore, the Chief Minister said that developmental work is being done keeping that direction in mind. As Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a great personality, he also showed strength in the interest of the country. And he did whatever was necessary to strengthen the country. Chief Minister said that it will be possible to make one Bharat Shrestha Bharat and one Tripura Shrestha Tripura.
