Agartala: Dec 24: Every child is born with some talent and every citizen of the society including parents has an important responsibility in developing the inherent talent of children.Chief Minister Prof. Dr.Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the 34th Shishu Mela organized bt Agiye Chalo Sangha today.
He said that if the parents impose their own needs on the children, the real development of the children can be hindered. Therefore, parents should always be aware that no pressure is created on the children under any circumstances. He also said that the parents should pay special attention to the education of the children in the best place.
Education at this best place will help parents get a clear idea of what their child is interested in and guide them in the right direction. The Chief Minister wished the overall success of this Shishu Mela program of the Gore Chalo Sangha.
Janhabi Das Chowdhury, corporate of Agartala Municipal Corporation, said that children are currently addicted to mobile phones. To overcome this, organizing such children’s fairs is absolutely necessary. He emphasized on involving children in various creative activities including sports and cultural programmes. President of Tripura Cricket Association Tapan Gope and Sumanta Gupta, General Secretary of Gehe Chalo Sangh spoke on the occasion.
