Agartala: Dec 20: The High Court has ordered to keep the reservation policy correct in the government jobs. So on Tuesday STGT job aspirants went to the Education Minister’s residence and demanded to appoint all together. Because the case with which a complicated situation was created for so long has been settled, now that case has been settled.
So they expressed hope that they will get a reply from the Education Minister. In this case, 100 percent sure they will get a good answer from the government. On this day, a delegation met the Minister of Education. But being disappointed that they did not get any information from the Education Minister, they said that the Education Minister did not give any response regarding their appointment. The Minister has left the decision to the Finance Department. Education Minister said that it is not possible to appoint more than 230 people. In this case STGT job aspirants say vacancies are more. But they questioned why they are not being appointed. And they are outraged that the education minister can close the schools if it is necessary to keep the schools open.
In the end, after talking with the education minister, they approached the finance minister and the deputy chief minister. A delegation went there and spoke to the Finance Minister. Finance Minister Jishnu Dev Varma talked to them for a long time. Later he said that they have trouble in their hearts. They should be heard. He will discuss this matter with the Education Minister and the Chief Minister. There is a feeling among them that everything is possible if the finance department and the minister want it. But in reality it doesn’t happen. The Cabinet operates on collective decisions. It is not possible for a minister to decide. Routine matters may be decided by the Minister. But policy matters are not possible without collective decision, he said. The Deputy Chief Minister assured that a solution will be found in this matter soon. On the other hand, STGT passers expressed their satisfaction in the discussion with the Finance Minister. He said that they were called to Secretariat regarding this on Wednesday. There they will be clarified on all matters.
The unemployed have expressed their anger at this role of the current government. Elections are coming. If everything goes well, the Election Commission of India will announce the dates for the Tripura elections within a month.
