Agartala: Dec 14: BJP state president of Tripura, Rajib Bhattacharji on his return from Delhi addressing a press conference in the party headquarters here on Wednesday said that the strategies for winning the 2023 assembly elections of the state have been discussed during the series of meetings at Delhi and with the party’s top leaders including national president J P Nadda and union Home Minister Amit Shah.
He added that several central leadership shall be campaigning here in the coming days and it will start with the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Along with Bhattacharjee other senior leaders of the ruling party including CM Manik Saha, Deputy CM Jishnu Dev Varma, Union MoS Pratima Bhowmik and former CM and MP Biplab Kumar Deb also participated in the meeting at Delhi.
On the poll alliance in Tripura for the assembly election, Bhattacharjee claimed that BJP believes in continuing its alliance and which has been proven since the time of NDA alliance under former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and which is still continuing, according in Tripura which formed the government along with the IPFT shall continue its alliance in the coming election.
He also claimed that BJP is going to return to power in Tripura and with more seats than at present as people of the state are with the party which has largely devolved the state during past years despite the pandemic.
