Agartala: Dec 06: There are many retired employees under State Government and Central Government. There are also workers who have retired after working in private firms. Most of them are under NPS. People have some doubts about this NPS. Therefore, to eliminate all these issues, the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority held a press conference on Tuesday.
PFRDA chairperson Supratim Banerjee said in the district governor’s conference hall that there is a need for more extensive publicity about NPS. Now the average life expectancy of people has increased. 60 years is not an age anymore. Considering all aspects in this situation, if people do not have a good pension scheme then they will face problems. Having no financial resources after the salary stops after retirement becomes a problem. State Nodal Officer of NPS, Additional Secretary of Finance Department was present in this meeting.
