Agartala: Dec 04: Former Pradesh Congress President Gopal Roy raised his voice to resist the Bike squad. Addressing a meeting organized by the Seva Dal at the Pradesh Congress Bhavan on Sunday, he said the ruling BJP cannot steal any vote when there is a drop of blood on the bodies of Congress workers and supporters. Congress has made that preparation democratically. He also said that Congress is the oldest party in the world. This party belongs to the people. He said that Congress will form the government in 2023.
While giving a speech, he gave a message to the unemployed as a promise for the assembly elections and said that there will be no vacancies. All vacancies will be filled. Besides leaving a message to the poor people, he said that the work of 100 days which was started under the leadership of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be done for at least 100 days after the establishment of the Congress party government in the state of Tripura because in the last five and a quarter years, only 40 to 50 days of work have been seen for the workers. He urged the workers to take that message to the people. All the organizers were present on this day including the state president of the organization and other leaders.
