Agartala: Dec 02: Pradyot Kishore Devavarman expressed concern about the current situation in the state. Raj addressed a press conference in Andar on Friday against the demands of the people and political terrorism. The demand will be presented to the Home Minister. He also strongly condemned the killings in Charilam Bazar political clashes and said that there should be a fair investigation into this incident. Police administration should take strict action against those who organized this political terror incident. The Assembly elections in next two to three months left. If the accused are not arrested, they will cross the border further in the next two-three months, so police administration should be given freedom to take action against them already. So that action can be taken impartially.
He also said that Shahid Mia can be a worker of any political party, but he was first and foremost a citizen of India. Besides, he also said that Tripura state has a bad name due to political terrorism among the North-Eastern regions. But all political parties have the right to have a democratic program. Therefore, the current terror of the ruling party against the opposition political parties is not worthy of support, Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman made this clear.
Meanwhile, regarding the cancel of announcements in Kakbarak language at airports and railway stations, Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman said six years ago, as per the demand of former MP Jitendra Chowdhury, the then central government introduced Kakbarak language at airports and railway stations in Tripura. But in the last six years announcements in that language have been stopped. It has played with the mentality of the people of the Janjati section of Tripura state. A few days ago, when the minister of the concerned central ministry was asked to declare Kakbarak language, he did not allow it. Party president Vijay Hrankhwal and other leaders were also present in the organized press conference.
