With just three months for the assembly election of Tripura scheduled in February 2023, much ahead of other political parties the ruling BJP on Sunday launched its election campaign ‘Haar Ghar BJP’ under which the party workers shall cover some 8.5 households in the state and try to produce the report card of the development activities of the government so that voters re-elect BJP led government in Tripura.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha who also campaigned in his constituency said, “Our aim to achieve cent percent vote of the people of Tripura in favour of the BJP led alliance and we are producing before the public report card of work done by our government so that they can realise and cast their votes for us.”
He added, “We are bringing before them the transparency, accountability and good governance of our government, moreover, we are also creating awareness on the various steps taken by this government to ensure peace and a drug free Tripura.”
When asked what is the target of the campaign he said, “We are campaigning with the target for the 2023 election which is like to take place in the month of February and we are reaching every household. Earlier we had successfully covered every booth under the ‘Booth Chalo Abhiyan’ and now it is ‘Haar Ghar BJP’ and the target is to enter 8.5 households in the state and produce the report card before them regarding what the double engine BJP government has done for the development of the state and why they should reestablish the BJP government.”
The campaign was launched across the 60 constituencies in the state and immediately after the Maan Ki Baat, monthly talk of by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha took part in the campaign in his Bordwali constituency where large number of BJP supporters accompanied him as they went through out raising slogans to bring BJP back in power in 2023 in Tripura.
