Agartala: Nov 19: A youth died after being hit by a train at early morning. The incident took place on Saturday morning on the railway line in the area adjacent to Mygonga Bazar under Teliamura police station.
Locals reported the death after being cut on the railway line in the area adjacent to Teliamura Mygonga Bazar on Saturday morning. Teliamura police station and railway police rushed to the spot after receiving the information.
The deceased has been identified as Rajdeep Roy from Netajinagar area under Teliamura police station. The incident is believed to have happened sometime last night. He is also known to be a third semester student of Teliamura Government College. But till now the exact cause of his death is not known. Suicide or other mystery behind it will come out in proper investigation.
Later, the police recovered the body from the rail and brought it to Teliamura sub-divisional hospital. According to the police, it was handed over to the family after the post-mortem. Police are investigating the incident as a case of unusual death.
