Agartala: Nov 16: In a tragic incident, a dead body of a unidentified youth recovered in the area adjacent to Jaruilong Bari food warehouse under the Teliamura police station. The police recovered a syringe used for drug consumption from the side of the dead body. It is proven once again that the youth is slowly drowning in the coral graze of drugs.
According to the details of the incident, the dead body of a 30-35-year-old tribal youth was found on the banks of Khowai river near Jaruilong Bari food warehouse under Teliamura police station on Wednesday morning. After witnessing the incident, the local residents sent the incident report to Teliamura police station. The police of Teliamura police station reached the spot after receiving the information about the incident. Along with that, Teliamura Divisional Police Officer Prasun Kanti Tripura also rushed to the spot. The Sub-Divisional Police Officer reached the spot and saw syringes used for drug consumption lying beside the dead body.
The police sent the dead bodies to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital morgue for post-mortem. The identity of this dead body yet to known.
However, the police initially believe that the unidentified tribal youth died as a result of excessive drug consumption. On the other hand, the police are investigating whether there is any mystery behind this incident.
