Agartala: Nov 16: In a tragic incident a housewife commits suicide by hanging herself. The deceased identified as Priyanka Debnath (30).
According to the details of the incident, Priyanka Debnath (30), wife of Sukanta Debnath, a resident of Betaga Ward No. 6 under Shantir Bazar sub-division, chose to commit suicide by hanging herself. Around 12 noon on Wednesday, the family members of the house found Priyanka Debnath in hanging position.
Later, the family members reported this to the Shantir Bazar police station. On receiving the information about the incident, Shantir Bazar police reached the spot and brought the dead body to Shantir Bazar district hospital for autopsy.
There is confusion about the cause of death. The police initially believe that Priyanka Debnath chose to commit suicide. The real mystery of the death will emerge after the autopsy. The deceased housewife has a son. He is said to be studying in class 6.
